In the project, I focus on inclusive design and people-oriented design concept, conduct interviews and research with target users, use various methods to analyze the obtained information, and get design ideas through divergent thinking. In the project from the early stage to the later stage, the crowd characteristics of the elderly are taken into account, making the design more humanized.

Oral health monitoring and nursing design for the elderly over 65 years old in China
The brief of major project
The problem of aging in China is relatively serious. The Chinese elderly in contemporary society know little about oral health. Oral problems are easily ignored by the public, and the habit of cleaning the mouth is not developed. This project aims to increase the attention of contemporary elderly to oral health, strengthen oral health management.
The solution is a smart tea bottle that is suitable for the elderly to go out and take into account both the oral cleaning function and the oral monitoring function.
The sketch of major project
The main modules of the product are water bottle module, oral cleaning module, and bad breath detection module.
The evaluation of major project
Drinking more tea will relatively inhibit bad breath, and the tea polyphenols contained in tea have some help in fighting dental caries.
Chewing behaviour and slightly bitter tea leaves stimulate saliva secretion, these two things can not only improve oral hygiene and relieve the problem of dry mouth in the elderly, but also massage the gums, and prevent gum recession.
Long press the switch on the top of the lid, to blow air into the opening and check the breath condition.
The bottom can store the used tea filter, so the user can be confident that the rejected tea filter will not contaminate the tea.
The realization of major project
This project uses methods such as Arduino board, blue foam, and 3D Printing to verify the feasibility of product functionality.
A variety of colors are available for more people to choose from. The colors of the products are inclusive and help the mental health of the elderly.
The product of inclusive design module
This product is a smart pill box, which can strengthen the compliance of the elderly to take medicine, and develop the habit of reading the instructions and doctor's orders before taking medicine. The process of taking medicine by themselves also makes the elderly more familiar with the dosage and efficacy of the medicine.
The product of technical skills module
This product let the lacquer repairer repair more safely and accurately, reduce the inhalation of harmful and unhealthy gases when preparing the paint, and more accurately match the colour of the cultural relics when the colour is adjusted.
The product of business, enterprise and design module
The HS drinking device launched by the company is a new portable anti-choking drinking device designed for MND patients, which is mainly divided into three parts: forehead brace lid system, plastic bottle and optional adjustable arm. The adjustable arm of HS drinking device is a bracket that can be fixed on the wheelchair to assist users in the use of drinking device.
