Human Factors and Ergonomics for Patient Safety

Recognised by the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) this programme examines how best to ensure a good fit between people, their actions, the objects they use and the environments which they occupy. Focusing on the promotion of patient safety in the healthcare sector, students apply theoretical principles, data and methods to ensure that design is optimised for human wellbeing and overall system performance.
