Try It On(TIO) is a service for LGBTQ+ individuals aged 18-26 to buy clothes that are different from the gender they were assigned at birth, providing a gender-neutral shopping experience (online and offline).
TIO allows users to access clothing brands(online) whilst also having physical contact with the garments but without the stress of interacting with others.
TIO is a pleasurable browsing experience that feels like exploring new and unexpected items.

TIO Service Overview
Let’s zoom out to the big picture of TIO service. There is a fitting room site in each 15-minute neighbourhood.
A large online database and advanced algorithms calculate the shortest delivery routes to save delivery costs. Compared with traditional online shopping, TIO's service reduces the number of shipments and, therefore, reduces energy waste in transportation.
How to keep the TIO running?
TIO is a B2C2B model, which means brands will pay a commission fee for registering on our online platform. And then, they can pay for our marketing tools to promote their products to targeted customers or buy their data. This will be the primary source of revenue.
More specifically, our AI system will generate user profiles once registered and learn the user's preferences. This data with body measurements will be sold to related brands to help them understand the needs of their customers.
TIO's Value
TIO provides a gender-neutral shopping experience for users and better customer relations and marketing tools for apparel companies.
Value Perspective tool was used to think beyond customers about the value for the ecosystem and our society from four perspectives: economy, psychology, sociology, and ecology.
TIO Design Process
The diagram shows the journey of how I achieved the final solution chronologically. However, the entire process is more iterative rather than linear.
