A Cat-Hair Collector for Cat Allergy Owners and Their Cats
Puff Felis Cat Hair Collector
This project comes from the designer and her friends' struggling experience with the cat keeping life with cat allergy. And the inspirations for this concept are from cat behaviours of going through the tunnel toy and the silicone cat-hair brusher gloves. The final product is a cat tunnel with a soft, washable silicone brusher layer and a detachable frame. It's a new non-medical disease management option for users and aims to alleviate the conflict between cat allergy owners and their cats while increasing their actual welfare.

Main Features of Product
There are four features and structures of this product.
1. The detachable frame for supporting the silicone brusher layer and keeping it stable.
2. The semi-transparent silicone brusher layer for collecting cat hair when a cat goes through it.
3. The magnet attachment structure for assisting the owner in installing the silicone layer quickly.
4. A fixing switch for keeping the product stable and helping the owner open it easily.
The Details of Silicone Brusher Layer
This picture shows the details of the silicone brusher layer and the functional test results. There are many bristles in a specific layout(proved by prototype testing) on the silicone layer surface.
1. The ability to collect hair to ensure the product's practicality.
2. Washable and easy cleaning reduces cleaning burden and increases product life span.
3. Semi-translucent with ideal thickness to assist owners in checking their cats and interacting with them.
Ps: All tests used a simulated hair model to test.
Product Components Expansion View
This product is designed with the ideas of sustainability and circular economy. It's also a symmetrical format of the support frame. Both sides have the same structure with the same components. This approach can be a solution to reduce the plastic in using frame format and increase the product life span by making every element replaceable for different aesthetic user needs without mold development waste. It also will be recycled after use to produce a PCR-Plastic version to activate and circulate the sustainable product circle in the designer's plan.
Interacting Light for Cats
This part is designed for the cat to engage with this product and ensure the frequency of use. And the component of the light can be replaced using other toys.
BOCKET Water Cup for People with MND
This is a three people group project from the 'Business, Enterprise and Design Module'. It focuses on the drinking difficulty and social needs of people with MND and aims to help them drink smoothly, independently, and confidently.
Cos-Packi Vase
This project is an early project inspired by the designer's previous working experience as a purchasing specialist of cosmetic packaging materials. It combines a vase and a candle made of plastic waste plastic packaging with a concept of an unbalanced libra. This product aims to criticize "the beauty that person pursued is based on destroying the nature of beauty" and to make everyone focus on these issues mentioned above and then change their minds.
